DO UNTO OTHERS.
Greetings to you all, readers all over the world it is indeed a blessing to have this opportunity to write for you again as you know this heart of man series is a complete write-up based on God's truth and not by our own perception, so you are welcome to the topic DO UNTO OTHERS please do read this with an open mind and i believe the spirit of God will speak to your heart.
So let's look at the word's of our Lord and Saviour Jesus and see what he meant and how we can connect it to our own lives as his followers. In the book of Matthew 7:12 “Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets.
This verse sums up the very vital form of relationship that is grossly missing in the life of many people especially those of us who claim to be followers of Jesus or belivers
People expect much from people they are associated with but don't want to give that same thing they expect to get. This is wickedness and is not of God for no one is overly special than his or her fellow man or woman.
When we learn to give what is expected of us, we will be able to serve God better and bring the kingdom of God nearer to people by our way of godly relationship which encourages us to do good at all times.
Matthew 7:5 Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye.
In our present world, hypocrisy has eaten deep very deep into the foundation and fabric of our society and the folks in the church and outside the church are not left behind in fact i will state here, that hypocrisy is a terrible sin that most of us are not willing to acknowledge many people in the church don't understand that God is, a God of the present and not the past.
When people bring up people's past they are willingly hidden their own past which often at times is more messier than the person they are pointing at, this a high form of hypocrisy. Note, the log and a speck has two different meaning a speak can be described as a chip of wood tiny part while a log can be a huge chunk of a tree or the full tree itself.
So what Jesus was pointing at, is people have logs in their eyes and want to remove speck from a friend's eyes, you see people are very good at keeping their dirty past and bringing up peoples past, God who sees everyone and knows every heart and will judge based on justice and truth.
John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. “By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
This verse summons up what will help us to DO UNTO OTHERS that thing is love there has never been a time hate will win over love when we don't love people and we expect them to love us it doesn't work like that, is very hard in the human nature to love when he sees hate but as followers of jesus we are condemned to love at all times by this we get love in return.
Luke 6:27-28 "Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you"
This is a classic life style of jesus the bible told everywhere he went he was doing good even though his enemies were plotting to kill him he was still doing good.
In our lives as followers of Jesus we must do good no matter what we see. People change their lives by the power of being loved. Even a man who is known as a hard wicked man still has a place in his heart that does good.
As you conclude reading this piece do unto others like you want them to do to you love people do good and spread God's light and love everywhere don't go about as an hypocrisy claiming to be a follower of jesus hiding under the cover of the church to bring peoples past up sending them away from the church rather than bringing them inside. this is a wicked act of hypocrisy.
Galatians 6:10 "Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers."
