THE SPIRIT OF FALSHOOD

(2 Chronicles 18:22) "Behold, the LORD has put a lying spirit in the mouth of these prophets. The LORD has declared disaster concerning you".  A lying spirit is a demon or spiritual being that promotes deception and falsehood. It's different from the temptation to lie, that's part of human nature. So with these words I welcome you to this topic titled  THE SPIRIT OF FALSEHOOD. I hope you will enjoy the reading and also have some things to learn from it because that's exactly the purpose why the heart of man series is written. Now let's talk about religion as it thrives with the spirit of falsehood and the question to ask is what is religion? Religion is a system of thoughts, feelings, and actions that gives people an object of devotion and a code of behavior.  So looking at the definition of religion it does not show any form of spirituality as connected to God; rather it shows a form of how humans have decided to have a code of behavior system of thoughts, feelings and actions therein lies the spirit of falsehood.  (John 4:2) For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.”  The spirit of falsehood thrives in a religious setup. A religious setup is based on man's own way and the ways of man is based on lies and deception.  The spiritual doesn't thrive in man's perceived instructions and assumptions; it thrives in man obedience to the instruction of God.The spirit of falsehood is so entrenched in christianity today to an extent ministers of the gospel now use their own perception as the truth of God's word, this deception is carried out by the spirit of falsehood. (James 1:27) Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. As you can see the first paragraph of this verse talked about pure and genuine religion in the sight of God. and the last word was refusing to let the world corrupt, stain, conterminate,infect you. Have you seen what goes on in most religious set -up? it is so contrary to what the book of james 1:27 said in fact most of the corruption people experience these days are found in the religious set -up of the church. (John 4:6)  The Apostle John provides a clear distinction between the Spirit of Truth and the spirit of falsehood: "We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us.  This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood." Here, John emphasizes that those who belong to God will recognize and adhere to the truth, while those influenced by the spirit of falsehood will reject it. Now this brings me to how do you identify the spirit of falsehood when you don't have the spirit of truth in you? You see, being religious takes aways God's truth from us and presents to us a deceptive spirit that makes us feel we are with God when we are actually not near, the spirit of being religious thrievs with the human nature based on human perception and the human nature is sinful.  In this Last days the spirit of falsehood that thrives on lies and deception has taken over so many churches it has taken over so many ministers and so many christains they are now comfortable in telling stories rather than telling people the truth they have now engrossed in a form of worship devoid of God's truth leading millions into eternal damnation. In their misconception they believe the church is the temple of God as told by their pastors who are operating under the spirit of falsehood they forget the clarity of this bible verse that says  (1 Corinthians 6:9) Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself. Without the Holy Spirit living in you, the spirit of falsehood will take charge of your life, don't ever forget, you must carry a spirit and whatever is living inside of you, becomes your master and you become the slave. (Romans 8:14) For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. It simply means those who are following God's guardians are the children of God. The truth be told, do you have the Holy Spirit in you? if yes praise GOD if No the spirit of falsehood will thrive in you and that spirit is of the Devil think about this and let the Spirit of God do you good. We are in the time of the end stop following what people are saying stop listening to the voice of men who claim they have deep spiritual revelation focus on jesus, allow the Holy Spirit to take charge.(John 8:32)And you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.
